Farming is one of the most reliable and repeatable income sources in Skyblock. Unlike combat or mining, farming is completely predictable and scales with efficiency.
Required Materials
- Hoe: Any hoe works, but higher tiers work faster
- Seeds: Purchase from NPC shop (25 coins per seed)
- Water: Create hydrated farmland - place water adjacent to dirt/grass
- Land: Cultivate accessible farm area
Farming Mechanics
Growth Stages
Each crop goes through 4 growth stages before harvest. Display progress with /skyblock menu!
- Stage 1: Seedling (1-25% mature)
- Stage 2: Young plant (26-50% mature)
- Stage 3: Mature plant (51-75% mature)
- Stage 4: Ready for harvest (76-100% mature)
Growth Speed Factors
- Farming skill level (higher = faster growth)
- Crop type (different crops grow at different rates)
- Organic matter/fertilizer (boosts growth by 10-50%)
- Enchantments on hoe (Replenish, Green Thumb, etc.)
